GranCare Inc. announced the promotions of Kay L. Brown, Kerry Nielson and Peter J. Steenblock to senior vice presidents of the company.

Brown was previously vice president of home health care. She will retain these responsibilities but will also oversee the company’s rehabilitation services and the Michigan facilities operations. She joined the Culver City-based health care company in June, 1992.

Nielson will assume the responsibilities of managing the Wisconsin, Colorado, Arizona and South Dakota facilities’ operations as well as the company’s pharmacy operations, where he previously served as vice president and director.

Steenblock, promoted from vice president and director of Southwest operations, will oversee GranCare’s California facilities network. Steenblock joined the company in November, 1990.
