3 Suspects Arrested in School Bus Attack

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa —
Police have arrested three men in the killing of six students when a school bus was ambushed, spokesman Capt. Henry Budhram said Friday.
Gunmen raked the bus with automatic rifle fire near Pietermaritzburg in the eastern province of Natal on Tuesday. Six children the bus driver also were wounded.
The men were arrested after the bus driver identified one of them, Budhram said. He said more arrests were expected.
The attack caused a public outcry, and police had offered an $80,000 reward for apprehending the killers.
