BREA : City Official Named to Statewide Panel

Councilwoman Bev Perry has been appointed to the Community Services Committee of the League of California Cities by league President Patricia Castillo.

The committee is responsible for studying matters related to the administration of parks and recreation programs, cultural activities and libraries as well as the planning and coordination of social services.

Before her election to the City Council, Perry was a member of the Brea Parks, Recreation and Human Services Commission and the board of directors of the Brea Civic Light Opera. She also served on the Orange County Human Relations Council.

Perry serves on the Executive Board of the Southern California Assn. of Governments and the Tri-City Park Authority.

The League of California Cities is a professional organization of all cities in California. It represents the municipalities at the county, state and federal levels and is used as a network to exchange information on local government.
