THOUSAND OAKS : 2 Held in Seizure of 5 Pounds of Pot
County sheriff’s detectives have arrested two men and seized about five pounds of marijuana at their Thousand Oaks residence, officials said Tuesday.
Timothy Buckley, 27, and David Dennison, 41, were booked into the East Valley Jail late Monday on suspicion possessing marijuana for sale. Bail was set at $5,000 each.
The arrests culminated a four-week investigation after detectives received information that narcotics sales might be going on in the 100 block of Macafee Court. After observing what they believed to be sales, the detectives obtained a search warrant for the home and found the marijuana, worth about $45,600 on the street, they said. Detectives also seized $3,000 in cash.
