Smart Is Moved to N.Y.

CONCORD, N.H. —
Pamela Smart, the former high school instructor convicted of coaxing her teen-age lover to kill her husband, was moved to a New York state prison Thursday for “security reasons,” a prison spokesman said. She was taken to the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women, 35 miles north of New York City. New Hampshire has only one women’s prison, in Goffstown.
