Many British motorists behave like wild animals, showing territorial aggression and ignoring pedestrians because they pose little threat, according to a report published Thursday.

“It is necessary for only a few drivers to behave aggressively to protect what they regard as their territory for many others to feel threatened,” Britain’s Automobile Assn. said.

The report concluded that it is essential to change the attitude of the “dominant driver.”
