AND ONE MORE THING: If you’ve got some spare cash, a San Francisco auction house has a few items of rock memorabilia you might be interested in. Richard Wolffers Auctions is holding a public bidding on Wednesday of more than 500 rock-related items, from gold records to contracts to guitars.

The biggest prize of the batch is an acoustic guitar owned by Elvis Presley and used by him in several of his early-’60s films, including “Viva Las Vegas.” Despite numerous scuffs and blemishes, a missing string and some cracks, the instrument has been assigned an estimated value of $35,000-$45,000.

Too rich for your blood? Maybe you’d prefer stage suits worn by Prince, Wendy Melvoin and Bobby Z. on the 1984 “Purple Rain” concert tour--just $20,000-$30,000 for the set--or a black velvet dress with beaded push-up bra owned by Janis Joplin and worn in many concerts, valued at $20,000-$25,000.
