More Assistance Available for Scam Victims

In regard to your article “Front-Porch Scams” on con artists, many of us in the mortgage industry were appalled to be referred to as “unscrupulous.”

Your description of loan brokers represented a small fraction of non-licensed or incorrectly licensed people who hold themselves out to the public as mortgage loan brokers, but who in fact are not, and should not be confused with those of us who are legitimate.
