FLYING CREDIT: Find yourself short of cash at John Wayne Airport? You can now use a credit card--MasterCard or Visa only--to pay for your parking in the short-term lots and the long-term lots next to the Thomas F. Riley Terminal, even if it’s just for a dollar. The long-term lots run $7 per day, short-term lots $1 per hour (up to $14 a day). . . . Airport director Jan Mittermeier says the credit cards are a response to passenger requests.
