La Canada Flintridge : Environmental Effort OKd
The City Council agreed this week to work with Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena and South Pasadena on local environmental issues.
The cities have promised to cooperate on issues such as air and water quality, waste management and housing.
“La Canada Flintridge does not want to be left out when it comes to resolving subregional questions,” said Assistant City Manager Mark Alexander.
The council also voted to promote car-pooling and alternatives to cars through a billboard campaign.
