The Guardian Angels on Sunday asked residents for help in identifying the killer of Glenn Doser, a member of the crime-fighting group who was murdered early Thursday morning in Hollywood.

A spokesman for the group said the Guardian Angels have been keeping a vigil on Hollywood Boulevard between Mariposa and Alexandria avenues, the site of the murder, to pay respect to Doser and encourage people to come forward with information. The organization is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Doser’s killer.

Doser was killed about 3:30 a.m. when he was trying to stop a robbery, said Weston Conwell, southwest director of the Guardian Angels. According to a witness, two men were trying to rob someone when Doser tried to intercede. One robber shot him in the chest, killing him instantly, Conwell said.
