Raider executive Al LoCasale, who functions as the club’s general manager, is in Cedars of Lebanon Hospital, a spokesperson for the hospital said, but she declined to give additional information.
At Palm Desert, where LoCasale was scheduled to represent the Raiders this week at the NFL owners’ meetings, a club source said he had suffered a slight stroke. Raider owner Al Davis was unavailable.
A Raider attorney, Amy Trask, says LoCasale went in Friday and was due out by Tuesday. She said, “His prognosis and frame of mind are both excellent.”
