Breast Cancer Study: Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center is putting out a call for women to participate in a clinical trial to test a drug’s effectiveness in treating breast cancer.

The study will focus on the long-term effectiveness of tamoxifen. Researchers are looking for two groups: women 60 and older, and women age 35 to 59. The hospital will be one of 270 sites participating in the nationwide study.
