Apple Computer Unveils New Products: Apple Computer Inc. has launched a new line of products that will put its Macintosh computers into play in the lucrative corporate market for personal computer networks. The Apple Workgroup Servers line, unveiled by the company’s enterprise systems division, comprises client-server computers that are touted as cheaper and easier to use than competing models. Client-servers operate whole networks of personal computers and are rapidly replacing older-generation mainframes and minicomputers in many businesses.
