DANA POINT : Mayors Ball Will Be Held Tonight
South County’s premier social-political event of the season, the annual Mayors Ball, will take place tonight at the Ritz-Carlton hotel.
Sponsored by the South County Chamber of Commerce, the black-tie affair honors the mayors of South County cities.
“It brings together all the elected officials and business leaders in the area,” said Kate Keena, chamber director. “There is no other event like it.”
The highlight of the evening will be the first showing of a 10-minute video extolling the economic and lifestyle advantages of South County. Produced by the chamber, the video will be sent to companies statewide to promote economic development in the area.
“We want to let them know that South County is a good place to live and work,” Keena said.
