WOODLAND HILLS : Husband Surrenders After Body Is Found
A 54-year-old man, who told a business associate he had killed his wife, surrendered to police after the woman’s bludgeoned body was discovered in the couple’s Woodland Hills garage, Los Angeles police said Friday.
Moosa Hanoukai, 54, surrendered at the West Los Angeles Police Station at 8 p.m. Thursday, said Detective Rick Swanston. Hanoukai is being held without bail on suspicion of killing his wife of 24 years, Manijeh Hanoukai, 45, police said.
The body of Manijeh Hanoukai was found stuffed in a plastic bag when police served a search warrant Wednesday evening at the home at 22751 Margarita Drive, Swanston said. An autopsy is pending.
