A 37-year-old Oxnard man died early Saturday after his vehicle slammed into the back of big-rig truck that was stopped at an Oxnard intersection, police said.

Leo Garcia died at about 5:40 a.m. at St. John's Regional Medical Center after rescue workers from the Oxnard Fire Department freed him from his gray Chevrolet Suburban, police and coroner's officials said.
