HAVANA —
Mexico has flown a donation of food to Cuba for the victims of a violent storm that swept the communist-ruled Caribbean island March 13, state media said Friday.
The nine tons of food products donated by the Mexican government and three tons of powdered milk and chocolate given by the Swiss multinational Nestle in Mexico arrived in Havana Thursday night, they said.
Mexican officials said another plane arrived Friday with 18 tons of medicines and roofing materials.
