End Still Does Not Justify the Means

I couldn’t agree more with the title of Dianne Klein’s March 16 article, “The End Does Not Justify the Fanatical Means of Terrorism.” But I would apply it to people on both sides of the abortion issue, unlike Dianne and many other media professionals, who castigate only those on the other side of the fence.

Klein boldfacedly points out the apparent hypocrisy of an isolated act of a disturbed person, Dr. Gunn’s killer, in a contrived effort to characterize him as the epochal product of the pro-life movement, despite the fact that his behavior was universally condemned by virtually any legitimate pro-life leader, and was also totally inconsonant with virtually every perspective in the pro-life movement.MATTHEW ISAACS,
