Johnny Cash Awarded $1.6 Million: Johnny Cash was awarded $1.6 million in his lawsuit against the developer of a never-completed theater complex bearing his name. A bankruptcy judge in Springfield, Mo., approved the settlement between Cash and developer David Green. Cash was to headline the Cash Country Theater in Branson last year, but Green ran into money trouble and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection before the theater was completed. The singer will get $400,000 for now. The rest will be paid once the remaining 70 acres near the theater site are sold.
