Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrested five men in a raid on a Lancaster house used as a methamphetamine lab and seized guns and $150,000 worth of drugs and chemicals at the site, authorities said Friday.
Deputies went into the house in the 23500 block of West Avenue D-5 about 11 p.m. Thursday, after 13 hours of surveillance, sheriff’s officials said.
The five arrested were identified as Arthur Adams, 45; James Carroll, 40; Thomas Gibson, 46; Larry Link, 46, and Michael Morgan, 32, all of Lancaster, said Irma Becerra, a sheriff’s spokeswoman.
Deputies seized 1 1/2 pounds of methamphetamine, and glassware containing chemicals to manufacture the drug, Becerra said, as well as four handguns, four rifles and one shotgun.
The men are being held in lieu of $500,000 bail each, Becerra said.
