Clinton Gives Eulogy for Father-in-Law
President Clinton delivered an emotional eulogy Friday for his father-in-law, Hugh Rodham, during memorial services that attracted several hundred family and friends.
Rodham, 82, the father of First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, died Wednesday following a stroke March 19.
Bruce Lindsey, White House personnel director, said Clinton delivered “very heartfelt” remarks.
The Clintons and their daughter, Chelsea, 13, attended the small, private service at First United Methodist Church.
Rodham’s body was to be flown aboard Air Force One to Scranton, Pa., for funeral services and burial in his family’s plot today.
