KILLER LECTURE: A common topic among school youngsters has been the approach of the killer bees. It’s no school tale now. A symposium in Buena Park Wednesday, sponsored by the county’s Vector Control District, will include numerous experts on the Africanized honey bees--known as killer bees because they are more aggressive than others. . . . The bees, now in southeast Texas, are expected to make their way to Orange County sometime in 1994. Says Vector Control’s Fred Beams: “With advance preparation and a cooperative effort, they can be managed effectively and safely.”
