Rohr Inc., a jet engine housing maker caught in the downdraft of airline troubles, named Robert H. Rau as its president and chief executive. Rau was president of Parker Hannifin Corp.’s Parker Bertea Aerospace, a big manufacturer of hydraulic, fuel and pneumatic systems.
Rau replaces Robert Goldsmith, who retired unexpectedly in January as chairman and chief executive of Rohr.
