New Subsidiary for Irvine Firm: CMS Enhancements Inc. said Wednesday that it has formed a new subsidiary to oversee distribution of its AnyBus translator, which allows for computer upgrades that keep pace with advances in personal computer technology. AnyBus Technology Corp. joins CDS Distribution Inc., formed earlier this year, as the Irvine-based company’s two major subsidiaries. CMS President Michael J. Rusert said the new structure will allow the company to concentrate on marketing in each sector and “allow us to leverage opportunities in other segments of the industry.” Rusert became president of Irvine-based CMS last week, succeeding founder Jim Farooquee, who will continue to serve as chairman and chief executive officer. Farooquee will concentrate on global business opportunities and forming a management team for the two subsidiaries.
