DeKuyper, which has given the nation drinking options such as butterscotch-flavored liqueur, is introducing Lime Lizard Kamikaze, a 60-proof bottled version of a popular tavern cocktail.

Kamikazes, traditionally made with sweetened lime juice and vodka, are one of the drinks most frequently requested of bartenders, DeKuyper officials said.

The company said the Lime Lizard Kamikaze is meant to be chilled and served in a shot glass. A 750-milliliter bottle of the concoction will retail for about $8.

DeKuyper, a unit of Jim Beam Brands Co. also markets such specialty drinks as Buttershots, Hot Damn! and Cactus Juice Margarita Schnapps.
