Amplicon Inc.: The Santa Ana leaser and seller of high-tech equipment said earnings for its third fiscal quarter were up to $2.5 million, or 43 cents a share, from $2.4 million, or 41 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 rose to $40.5 million from $31.7 million. For the nine-month period, profit increased to $7.3 million, or $1.25 a share, from $6.6 million, or $1.14 a share. Nine-month revenue was up to $122.9 million from $91.5 million.
