* Gary Dawson has been promoted to executive vice president of sales for all Ocean Pacific Sunwear Ltd. divisions. He succeeds John Patrick, who is coordinating the launch of a new division. Dawson, who joined the Irvine sportswear company in 1992, was formerly the western regional sales manager. Before that, he was executive vice president of Pacific Coast Highway sportswear.
