Recycling

Recycling is a necessity and makes good sense. Los Angeles now uses three trash trucks to accomplish recycling pickup as opposed to one before. It would seem that traffic, noise, fuel, oil and dollars expended may be greater than the benefits of recycling. Perhaps we should have waited until the availability of a single truck, which could pick up and keep separate the three types of trash, was at hand. Tripling our trash pickup cost and pollution seems a poor trade.
