Woman’s Arrest

The unnecessary arrest and deliberate humiliation of Anna Nicholas by Santa Monica police is another indicator that police in the L.A. area have too little to do.

More cops are not needed. What is needed is sensible deployment of available manpower. Stop assigning police to the harassment of motorists and the collection of “taxes” (fines), and make them work on the prevention of real crimes such as assaults and robberies.
