WORLD IN BRIEF : FRANCE : Odorous Anti-Rape Device Is Invented

A French firm has invented a stink capsule for women to attach to their bras as an anti-rape device, the newspaper France-Soir reported. A violent tug on the bra, such as a rapist might exert, would release what the Equipol firm, makers of the capsule, described as an “obnoxious and very dissuasive odor,” the newspaper said.
