COSTA MESA : Applicants Sought for 2 City Boards
The City Council is accepting applications from individuals wanting to serve on the city’s Building, Housing and Fire Codes Board of Appeals and the Accessibility Standards Compliance Board of Appeals.
The Building, Housing and Fire Codes board has been created to assist the council and various city departments in hearing appeals concerning building, housing and fire codes.
The Board of Appeals consists of five members who either live or work in Costa Mesa. The members are appointed by the council.
The Accessibility Standards Compliance Board of Appeals has been designed to hear appeals regarding access for the physically disabled.
Anyone interested in serving on either board can submit a resume and letter of interest to the city manager’s office, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, Calif. 92626. All applications must be received by May 14.
