Patricia A. Warren Joins Carter Hawley

Carter Hawley Hale Stores Inc. announced the appointment of Patricia A. Warren as executive vice president of merchandising for women’s apparel, effective May 24. Warren will report to David L. Dworkin, president and chief executive of the Los Angeles-based retailer.

Warren is leaving the Bon Marche, where she has been senior vice president and general merchandise manager for apparel since 1990. Prior to that, Warren was with Carter Hawley’s Broadway Southwest division, most recently as executive vice president and general merchandise manager.

The company also announced that Richard G. Cosky, formerly director of transportation, has been promoted to vice president of transportation, and that James A. Farkas, formerly director of purchasing, has been promoted to vice president of purchasing.

Both Cosky and Farkas continue to report to Robert R. Schneider, senior vice president of distribution.

Carter Hawley operates the Broadway department store chain.
