A June 20 concert will feature noted violinist Avram Shtern, and an Aug. 8 recital will feature cellist Alexander Zhirov. All the concerts will be performed in private homes on the Westside.
“The wealth of musical virtuosos that the Los Angeles community has received from the former Soviet Union is enormous,” said Irine Schweltzer, chairwoman of the series.
