Arts and entertainment reports from The Times, national and international news services and the nation's press

Going to ABC: James Angle, anchor and senior editor of American Public Radio's daily business program "Marketplace" since 1990, will become an ABC-TV news correspondent in Washington starting in July, reporting on economic policy and the workplace for "World News Tonight" and other daily broadcasts. A search is under way for Angle's replacement. Before "Marketplace," Angle had been editor of National Public Radio's daily news magazine "All Things Considered" and had been an NPR foreign affairs and White House correspondent.
