Virgin Takes British Airways to Court: Britain’s dueling airlines, Virgin Atlantic and British Airways, landed back in court, with Virgin charging that its larger rival used confidential computer information to pilfer passengers. “Basically, we wish BA to repay us the monies they effectively stole off us by illegally accessing our computer files,” Virgin chief Richard Branson said. Virgin has accused British Airways of tricking passengers into switching airlines by having British Airways representatives phone them at home, posing as Virgin employees and saying Virgin flights had been canceled. In the action filed Thursday in the High Court of Justice, Virgin is seeking unspecified damages. Branson had previously turned down a $14-million settlement.
