Second-Guessing in Waco Tragedy

Cockburn's slanderous column was unbearably stupid, dishonest and vicious. The horror at Waco was unpreventable, as any reasonable person will admit.

When, and if ever, psychiatry becomes an exact science, it will be able to predict the actions of a homicidal, suicidal maniac. As of now, this terrible event was managed as well as it could have been. So the political vipers trying to make some profit from it are only disgracing themselves.
