Deputizing Citizens
Your editorial recommended passing a bill requiring the destruction of confiscated firearms. Next to it was an editorial on Bosnia, which stated, “The Muslims have been essentially unarmed.” To destroy weapons that could allow people to defend themselves in the face of certain slaughter is equivalent to throwing out a vaccine during a plague.
