Seeing the Bright Side: Pessimism may be rampant in real estate, but trade shows have never reflected that.

Orange County’s chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management has named its second annual conference “Invest in Success.” The asset management trade show, to be held June 29 at the Anaheim Marriott, will include seminars on gaining tenants, condominium conversions and Mexican opportunities. About 100 real estate professionals are expected to attend.

The keynote speaker will be Arthur Laffer, the Stanford-educated economist and adviser to the Bush Administration. And just in case any naysayers are in the group, motivational speaker Brian Tracy will be on hand to explain how to “rise above the recession and make your business work.”
