How Can Students Pay?
I was conversing with my father the other day about the educational price increases in the community college system. He had mentioned to me that not too long ago, attending a community college was free. I marveled at that notion.
It simply amazes me that in over the span of two generations, the cost of attending a junior college has skyrocketed. In just two years, the price has doubled.
This poses a major problem to students, most of whom are working their way through school, and they undoubtedly have not received a raise in pay. Therefore, how do the state officials expect a student to afford to go to school and pay for the additional bill?
