SANTA ANA : Firemen, Lawmen in 911 Football Bowl VI
The Orange County Firemen will take on the Orange County Lawmen in the sixth annual 911 Football Bowl at 6 tonight at Santa Ana Stadium. Requested donations are $3 per person.
The firefighters are challenging the Orange County Lawmen’s Assn., which is made up of law enforcement officers from all Orange County cities.
The event is sponsored by the 911 Foundation, a nonprofit volunteer organization made up of Orange County firefighters, who raise money for charities.
This year’s proceeds will be divided among the Lupus Foundation of Orange County, the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program, Operation Santa Claus and the Orange County Firemen’s Memorial.
