Clinton & Hollywood

Share

Never has a Calendar article so amused me. I worked briefly for one of the “policy advisers,” and I feel compelled to tell you that this individual’s production company provides neither a health plan nor any type of paid leave to its employees.

I applaud James Carville’s stand in regard to the arrogance of these people. Folks who own multiple homes and a fleet of cars and who fly to Europe for the weekend to go shopping haven’t the slightest clue what the average American needs or wants.

Instead of schmoozing with the Hollywood elite, Clinton’s people should be talking with laid-off GM workers, struggling families, the elderly, immigrants and so on. The beautiful people may have put up the money for Clinton to run, but we’re the ones who voted him into office. Don’t let us down, Bill.
