Bradley Stories: ABC News president Roone Arledge said Wednesday that his network has had preliminary talks with CBS’ Ed Bradley about coming to ABC when his contract expires in January. There has been industry speculation that a bidding war might erupt for Bradley, a veteran CBS broadcaster who is co-editor of “60 Minutes” and anchor of “Street Stories.” Arledge said that a deal had not yet been struck and he was not even sure if ABC would actively pursue Bradley. A CBS spokesman said the network had every expectation that Bradley would stay with it.
