BUENA PARK : Teacher Selected for Pennsylvania Trip

Catherine Pratt is one of four California teachers selected to attend a seminar this summer at the American Freedom Foundation in Valley Forge, Pa.

Pratt, a sixth-grade teacher at Raymond Temple School, will study original historical documents, participate in discussions with a group of college professors and take study trips to historical sites during her weeklong visit.

When Pratt returns to the classroom in the fall, she will make presentations about her summer experiences and plans to pass on the information to students in her classes as well as to other teachers in the district.
