VIETNAMESE AID: Vietnamese community leaders have started a free legal clinic for the county’s low-income immigrant community. The project provides Vietnamese law students every Friday afternoon at the Little Saigon Community Resource Center in Westminster. The service aids defendants in civil matters, screening their cases and referring them to established legal aid organizations. Ultimately, says program coordinator Loc Nguyen, “I hope we’ll have some Vietnamese lawyers volunteer.”
