Toronto Blue Jay pitcher Todd Stottlemyre has a strained muscle in his back below his right shoulder and a strained triceps.

In a story Saturday about Deion Sanders’ return to the Atlanta Braves’ lineup, the Associated Press erroneously attributed a quote to Otis Nixon, the Braves’ center fielder. Nixon did not say: “What the hell is this? The guy has been away a month, and he’s taking my job from me?”
Nixon, who was replaced by Sanders on Saturday, actually said: “I feel like I should be playing. I told (Manager) Bobby (Cox) I was unhappy.”
Nixon was back in the Braves’ lineup Sunday.
