World IN BRIEF : TURKEY : Kurdish Rebels Kill at Least 33 People

Separatist Kurdish rebels, shattering their 2-month-old truce, killed at least 33 people in southeastern Turkey, Interior Minister Ismet Sezgin said. After learning of the attack, the government suspended plans for a limited amnesty for rebels. The attack by members of the Kurdistan Workers Party occurred outside the provincial town of Bingol.
