Total national spot cable television advertising expenditures reached $31.2 million for the first quarter of 1993, compared to $24.7 million in the same period last year, an increase of 26.3%. First-quarter 1993 top spot cable advertisers by category, with percent change from fourth-quarter 1992:

Dining/drinking establishments: +16
