In a single day, the postal workers collected 150,000 pounds of canned food from 13 Orange County cities--enough to fill 300 postal vans. . . . Mark Lowry, manager of a local food bank, praised the contribution. “They presented every resident with the opportunity to reach out and help,” Lowry said. “This will go a long way to help those in these times of need.”
