HEBRON, Israeli-Occupied West Bank — Palestinians killed a Jewish settler Friday as he was going to pray at a site sacred to both Jews and Muslims in the occupied West Bank town of Hebron, Israel radio and security sources said.
The man, whose name was not released, was attacked from behind by one or two Palestinians who stabbed him before escaping with his personal weapon, the radio said.
Security sources said the settler was attacked in an alleyway as he headed for the Tomb of the Patriarchs, where tradition says the biblical patriarchs are buried.
